Commissioning Engineer

- Conduct in-depth analysis of project owner documents, design plans, and specifications
- Perform detailed inspections and assessments of building systems, identifying deficiencies
- Develop and execute strategic commissioning test plans and procedures
- Generate comprehensive reports outlining commissioning activities, findings, and recommendations
- Collaborate seamlessly with project stakeholders to resolve commissioning challenges and ensure successful outcomes
- Stay informed on industry standards, codes, and best practices.
- Certified Commissioning Professional or Licensed Engineer
- Expertise in building enclosure, mechanical, electrical power, plumbing, and/or fire protection systems
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant field experience, including commissioning and construction inspection
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, construction management, and commissioning software tools
- Ability to navigate construction sites physically, including climbing and lift operations.
Preferred Knowledge:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, architecture, or related field preferred.
- Experience with LEED or similar sustainability certifications.
- Understanding of building codes and industry benchmarks.
Other Requirements:
- Valid driver's license.
- Clearance eligibility for military bases, with background check.
- Willingness to travel up to 75%, mainly locally.
