Job Description

The Stellantis Customer Experience Organization is currently seeking a Warranty & Reliability Specialist to join our Quality team at the Stellantis Quality Engineering Center in Auburn hills, Michigan. The Warranty & Reliability Specialist is responsible for leading and facilitating quality teams in the identification of failures through analysis, ensuring timely implementation of corrective actions, and supporting warranty recovery activities. The Warranty & Reliability Specialist expert must be a creative problem solver, proactive and steadfast in the identification and resolution of vehicle quality. The selected individual will have experience in managing cross-functionally and possess a broad knowledge of the entire automotive engineering, manufacturing and quality landscape and present outstanding teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills. The candidate must be high-energy, hands-on individual with strength of convictions -- a self-confident leader who, in part due to his/her personal presence, style and demeanor, effectively sells ideas and solutions to others. Moreover, this person must have unquestioned integrity.

The specific qualifications for are:

Identify new emerging field issues by analyzing warranty returned material and data to understand failure modes and effectsManage all part return material activities for the Chassis and HVAC area to ensure returned material is utilized to assist with Corporate Quality initiativesReview supplier testing procedures to ensure evaluation of material is accurateUtilize corporate data reporting systems to capture quality spills and to ensure clean points are in placePlan, prioritize, set goals and manage multiple projects in a technical and business environmentStrong communication skills to support meetings at all levels of the company, including senior leadershipEstablish partnerships both internally and externally and to influence without direct authorityCommitment and dedication in delivering a premier product to the consumerRepresent the "Voice of the Customer" to the platform teamsContribute or drive team success by clarifying expectation and minimizing political hurdlesDemonstrate unwavering commitment to delivering results and champion achievementsExhibit a willingness to do things differently and consistently translate ideas into actions that deliver resultsStrong interpersonal skills with ability to work in a team environmentManaged day-to-day activities of assigned UAW personnelMust possess strong communication & presentation skillsSelf-motivated and willing to challenge teams on all aspects of quality
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors of Science in Engineering or a related technical degree (Business Technical or dual degree is acceptable I.E.: Major in BA with a minor in Automotive / Technology or Engineering Technology)Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive (quality/service/engineering)Ability to collect and synthesize data into meaningful information and communicate clearly to all levels of the organizationSelf-directed and team oriented with demonstrated planning/problem solving skillsExperience and working knowledge of computer systems and software requiredProficiency in the Microsoft Office suiteExperience within a union environmen
Preferred Qualifications:
