Quality Engineer Konik - Little Falls, MN, United States Quality Engineer Little Falls, MN | Direct Hire | $65k - 95k

30PM Konik is partnering with a full-service metal fabricationpany providing a wide range of manufacturing capabilities, including sheet metal fabrication, machining, and welded assemblies. Supporting customers across a variety of industries, thepany works with materials ranging from thin gauge sheet metal to heavy plate in steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and other specialty metals. With modern fabrication equipment and a strongmitment to craftsmanship, the team specializes in solvingplex manufacturing challenges and delivering high-quality fabricatedponents. The Quality Engineer will play a key role in ensuring manufactured parts and assemblies meet customer specifications, internal quality standards, and regulatory requirements. This individual will support quality systems, lead root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and work closely with engineering, production, and customers to maintain high levels of product quality and process reliability.
Quality Engineer Responsibilities:
Support and maintain quality systems and procedures to ensurepliance with customer requirements and internal standards. Develop and implement inspection plans, quality documentation, and process controls for fabricated and machinedponents. Perform root cause analysis and lead corrective and preventive action initiatives related to quality issues. Collaborate with production, engineering, and operations teams to improve manufacturing processes and reduce defects. Review engineering drawings and specifications to ensure quality requirements are clearly defined and achievable. Support new product introductions and production launches with quality planning activities. Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement efforts. Participate in internal and customer audits and assist with maintaining quality certifications. Work with customers and suppliers to resolve quality concerns and ensure product conformance.
Quality Engineer Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related technical field preferred. Experience working in a manufacturing environment, ideally within metal fabrication, machining, or welded assemblies. Strong understanding of quality engineering principles including root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement methodologies. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications. Experience with inspection methods, measurement tools, and quality documentation. Strong analytical, problem-solving, andmunication skills. Ability to work cross-functionally with production, engineering, and customer teams.
