Job Description
Basic Qualifications Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related Science, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree and 6 months of job-related experience.
We apply advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, AR/VR, Cloud Native and Quantum Physics to solve our customers' missions in cyber, RF, undersea, interstellar and everything in between. Designing, implementing and maintaining quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into finished products, the Senior Quality Engineer will have the opportunity to help our nation's heroes make a true impact. You'll design methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of production processes, production equipment and finished products. In this role, you will be the front line of Quality Assurance support to the manufacturing floor, dispositioning nonconformances as they appear, leading root cause investigations, executing containment activities, and deploying corrective actions. You will work alongside a dedicated group of Quality Engineers and partner with personnel from across our manufacturing facility to ensure that the high standards of our highly regulated industry are upheld. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain a Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. 2008, CMMI, ISO 14001, ASME, ANSI, EIA, etc. Very solid knowledge of use of relevant inspection/measurement tools and techniques What sets you apart: Outstanding communication skills — very solid written and verbal communications — to work proactively with a project team and interact with our customers Ability to think creatively and multi-task across project reviews, technical design reviews, and technical peer reviews A high degree of motivation and persistence when working through problems of moderate scope Very solid skills in reviewing documents, drawings, and instructions for conformance to requirements techniques Very solid knowledge of contract language (including FARs, DFARs, etc.) and Government regulations Understanding of configuration management, change management, and contract quality requirements flow down to suppliers/sub-contractors Experience with the following: First Article Inspections Root Cause Tools Corrective Action Initiatives Process Improvement Stock Sweeps Salary Note This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled. Combined Salary Range USD $94,056.00 - USD $104,343.00 /Yr.
