Quality Engineer

As a Quality Engineer , you'll own customer complaints and corrective actions—leading investigations from intake through permanent resolution. You'll be the person who defines the problem, brings the right people together, and ensures issues don't happen again. This role partners with the Quality Manager and engineering department. serving the automotive and industrial application industries located in Roseville, MN. The starting salary for this permanent opportunity is between $65K-$90K.

What the role entails:

Own the full customer complaint and CAPA process from start to finish Lead root cause investigations using structured problem‑solving methods (5 Whys, Fishbone, etc.) Coordinate containment actions and manage nonconforming product Pull in cross‑functional partners (Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing) to restore conformance Write clear, professional customer responses and provide internal updates Verify effectiveness of corrective actions Maintain accurate documentation within the Quality Management System (ISO 9001) Support audits (internal, customer, third‑party) as needed Identify trends and support continuous improvement efforts

What We're Looking For:

2+ years of quality engineering or customer complaint/CAPA experience in manufacturing Strong root cause analysis and problem‑solving skills Must be comfortable owning complaint investigations Experience handling customer‑facing quality issues Working knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality systems High school diploma or GED (Associate degree preferred) Nice to Have (Not Required) Automotive, industrial, or medical manufacturing experience Epicor or ERP system experience Calibration exposure Ability to interpret engineering drawings/specifications For questions or details related to the Quality Engineering role, please call/text 952-818-3275 or email Lvoit@doherty.com.
