Maintenance Analyst

Position Summary The Maintenance Analyst is responsible for analyzing maintenance performance, equipment reliability, and downtime data to improve operational efficiency within a dimensional lumber mill. This role supports proactive maintenance strategies by identifying failure trends, optimizing preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to maximize mill uptime and productivity. This role will be production at time to reduce operations downtime. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze maintenance and downtime data from CMMS and production systems
• Develop KPI dashboards (uptime, MTBF, MTTR)
• Identify recurring equipment failures and recommend corrective actions
• Support reliability-centered maintenance and root cause failure analysis
• Optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Maintain CMMS data accuracy and reporting standards
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams
• Support inventory optimization and cost control initiatives Desired Qualifications
• Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with CMMS
• Advanced Excel skills
• Project management skills Preferred Qualifications
• 3+ years in maintenance or industrial operations preferred
• Experience in lumber or sawmill operations
• Knowledge of mechanical systems (conveyors, saws, kilns)
• Familiarity with reliability tools (RCM, FMEA, RCFA)
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau Key Competencies

• Continuous improvement mindset Work Environment Industrial lumber mill environment with exposure to noise, dust, and moving equipment.

Combination of office and field work. Must follow all safety policies.

Pay:

$65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
