Job Description:
Quality Engineer Full-Time | On-Site | Water Valley, MS The Quality Engineer is responsible for supporting assigned production operations to ensure the integrity of components and finished products. In this role, you'll drive continuous quality improvement initiatives aimed at achieving zero-defect performance, support new product development and launch activities, and lead problem-solving and process improvement efforts to protect and enhance product quality.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Support new product development, launches, and product/process changes using APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, and Change Management systems. Lead or support structured problem solving (8D, 5-Why), containment, root cause analysis, and corrective actions. Develop, implement, and maintain process controls, inspection methods, capability studies, and quality documentation in compliance with IATF 16949 and customer requirements. Monitor quality performance metrics and drive continuous improvement, cost reduction, and mistake-proofing initiatives. Provide day-to-day quality support to production and cross-functional teams, and supervise Quality Technicians as assigned. Support supplier quality activities and interface with customers as required.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. 5+ years of Quality Engineering experience in automotive manufacturing. Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, and Lean manufacturing. Proven problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
WHAT WE OFFER
Salary:
$110,000 - $115,000 Sign-on bonus
