Quality Engineer

A rapidly growing aerospace and defense manufacturer is seeking a Quality Engineer in Huntersville, NC! This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-expanding AS9100-certified operation supporting critical hardware for solid rocket motors and missile defense systems, with strong long-term growth potential into quality leadership as the company scales. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Quality Engineer position include: Experience with AS9100 quality systems and aerospace/defense manufacturing requirements. Support first article inspection documentation and data packages in accordance with AS9102. Prepare, review, and submit End Item Data Packages and quality documentation through customer portals. Help administer and mature the Quality Management System, including procedures, records, audit readiness, and compliance documentation. Develop inspection plans, templates, control plans, and support production and inspection activities. Manage or support NCR, RMA, CAPA, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts. Experience with AutoCAD, metrology software, JobBOSS, or UniPoint is a plus. Must qualify as a U.S. Person for ITAR compliance; aerospace experience is a major plus.

Salary :

$75,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
