Flexibility and compassion in your schedule when you need it Share in the profits of the business 'Small company culture': very little red tape to impede positive action, direct backing of CEO Planned career development opportunities Stability of ownership by a large multinational instrumentation company with a focus on innovation Primary Job Responsibilities Support the definition and documentation of product requirements to ensure alignment with customer needs Assist in risk analysis activities (e.g., PFMEA) to identify potential product and process risks and help implement controls Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance quality processes, procedures, and manufacturing efficiency Provide input on quality and Design-for-Manufacturability (DFM) considerations during product development Perform product and process testing, including executing test methods and collecting data to evaluate performance and capability Support product verification and validation (V&V) activities, including test execution, data collection, and documentation Assist in transitioning validated processes into production, including supporting in-process inspections and test methods Use basic problem-solving tools (e.g., 5 Whys, Pareto charts, Fishbone diagrams) to support root cause analysis and corrective actions Evaluate returned or nonconforming products to help identify root causes and support resolution activities Collect, analyze, and report quality data using statistical methods to identify trends and support decision-making Required Experience/Education Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or other closely related field Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment Preferred Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in a Quality role Experience with Optical Systems Experience with SolidWorks About Wasatch Photonics We are a fast-growing company with several market-leading products with optics at its core.
