Validation Engineer or Specialist Level 2
Validation Engineer or Specialist Locations:
Raleigh, North Carolina | Level 2 | Reports to Site Manager Built by the military community, for the military community. The hiring partner is 100 percent employee-owned through an Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP), which means every employee earns company stock at no cost as part of compensation, building real long-term wealth alongside salary. The military community is built into how these hires are made The Role A Level 2 role for those who work independently and lead, implementing commissioning, qualification, and validation from planning through system acceptance and developing testing criteria where no protocol exists. Demonstrate well-developed knowledge of pharmaceutical industry regulations and how they flow into customer quality systems such as CAPA, change control, and validation. Implement commissioning, qualification, or validation of a system or equipment from beginning (planning, requirements) to end (system acceptance, summaries), and independently develop testing criteria where no relevant protocol exists. Assess and develop master plans, system acceptance final reports, risk assessments, audits, and gap analysis and remediation plans, and mentor less experienced resources. Work directly with clients, vendors, and peers to gain consensus on design and approach. Travel roughly 30 to 50 percent. Cleaning, sterilization, and decontamination validation, and device assembly and packaging experience are preferred. What You Bring BS/BA degree and 1-2 years in pharmaceutical or other regulated industry experience directly related to pharmaceutical validation. Well-developed knowledge of how government regulations and industry standards flow into customer quality systems such as CAPA, change control, and validation. Ability to independently develop testing criteria where no protocol exists, propose and implement solutions, and develop master plans, risk assessments, gap analysis, and remediation plans. Confident interaction with clients, vendors, and peers, readiness to mentor and lead tasks, strong troubleshooting and communication, and depending on assignment, working knowledge of thermal mapping or computer systems. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. The company does not anticipate providing visa sponsorship for this position. Compensation Level Level 2 Base salary 80,000 - 90,000 USD Career Path Defined advancement path with growing scope and leadership Benefits and Ownership Employee-owned company with biannual profit share.
