REQUIREMENTS:

Craftworkers:

Must have own transportation to and from jobsite every work day (driver's license not required) Must provide own hand tools (excluding power tools) May be expected to travel where the project requires (multi-state opportunities)

Duties:

Receipt inspections of materials received at project job sites. Perform and/ or evaluate test for qualification of welders and/ or welding procedures to ASME Section

IX, AWS D1.1

Perform Inspections and document in accordance with: Code of Construction, Government Standards and contract requirements QA/QC error prevention and physical inspection of construction activities i.e...Civil, Concrete, Epoxy Anchors, Structural Steel, Bolting (RCSC), Grouting, Mechanical, Pressure Testing, Coatings...etc. Coordination of NDE Inspection contractors. Conduct Pressure Test and document results in accordance with Code and contract requirements. Verification of compliance to drawings, code, & project specification requirements. Responsible for creating and collecting verification documents for final work packages.

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum 5 years or equivalent in performing inspections. Experience with the following codes of construction and or standards; ASTM, ACI, AISC, AWS, RCSC, API and ASNT.
