Job Description

Sofidel America is seeking a skilled and motivated Vibration Analyst to join our Maintenance team. The Vibration Analyst is responsible for achieving the highest level of reliability for plant equipment through experienced troubleshooting practices and sound judgement. The Vibration Analyst will work with the Maintenance and Operations to maintain and/or improve the reliability of rotating equipment and meet the desired facility performance goals. Reporting to the Reliability Maintenance Supervisor, this position requires analyzing and reporting the health of rotating process equipment to proactively identify component, equipment, and system issues and recommend corrective actions. PdMA analysis and equipment condition monitoring technologies are critical to the success of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Predictive program and condition monitoring administration for the following but not limited to: Rotating equipment such as large fans, blowers, pumps, gearboxes, motors, and paper machine rolls. Daily communication with staff and Reliability Team. Review and monitoring of rotating equipment condition including vibration data, lube oil results and utilizing other critical operating process data such as pressures, temperatures, flows, loads & efficiencies to determine equipment health. Vibration analysis database management Hands on target pointing and installation of vibration systems on rotating equipment. Field diagnostics and strong troubleshooting skills. Utilize reliability knowledge as it pertains to mechanical drawings, process control documentation, mechanical integrity methods, tools, equipment, repair alteration and replacement of industrial process mechanical equipment. Track work requests and manage maintenance priorities. Report on equipment issues in monthly meetings and well entering corrections in CMMS system. Follow all LOTO and plant safety procedures. Strong organizational skills with ability to execute responsibilities and prioritize in a multitask environment. Consults with maintenance personnel on recommended corrective actions. Identify process opportunities in a continuous improvement (CI) environment. Collaborates with responsible Operations and Maintenance personnel, Reliability Lead, and Maintenance Planners to prioritize repairs of identified equipment issues. Participates in proactive maintenance activities such as FMEA's (Failure Mode Effects Analysis), RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action), and BDA (Break Down Analysis) Documents all performed work in CMMS system in sufficient detail to capture strong historical data for future analysis. Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Enforce GMP, Safety and audit standards.
Qualification Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent required Minimum 5 years of experience in the maintenance of rotating equipment in an industrial manufacturing environment.
ISO CAT I
in Vibration Analysis (CAT II preferred)
Skills and Abilities:
Thorough understanding of manufacturing safety procedures (lockout/tagout, confined spaces, personal protective equipment, etc.) required Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) required Experience with Emerson/CSI Products preferred Must possess excellent verbal communication, team interaction, and presentation skills. Demonstrates proficiency in the use, application, and maintenance of vibration data acquisition software and the diagnostic equipment used to track the health of the sites rotating assets. Proven ability to interpret and analyze vibration and oil analysis data.
