Insight Global is seeking a Maintenance Reliability Engineer for a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing client. This contractor will play a critical role in ensuring bioprocess and utility equipment operate at peak reliability and efficiency within a GMP-regulated environment. The ideal candidate will leverage data-driven reliability tools, lead root cause investigations, and collaborate cross functionally to improve asset performance, support compliance initiatives, and drive continuous improvement across maintenance operations.
Drive equipment reliability, uptime, and performance improvements
Support and execute site Reliability & Asset Management strategies [
Develop and optimize maintenance strategies (PMs, SOPs, job aids)
Lead root cause investigations, CAPAs, and equipment failure analyses
Analyze reliability data and trends (MTBF, MTTR, PM/CM ratios)
Utilize tools such as FRACAS, FMECA, and HAZOP
Support new equipment commissioning, qualification, and acceptance testing

Bachelor's degree in Engineering disciple or automation
2+ years of reliability engineering experience
Strong experience supporting maintenance activities in GMP-regulated manufacturing environments o Background in at least 2 technical areas - utilities, HVAC, automation, electrical, mechanical, metrology
Knowledge of root cause analysis, statistical analysis, and process control
Experience with predictive, preventive, and precision maintenance programs
Solid understanding of cGMPs in FDA-regulated facilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong collaboration, analytical, and problem solving skills
Pluses:
Experience supporting greenfield or brownfield GMP facility start-ups
