Currently we are hiring Commissioning Engineers to support large scale mission critical projects across the
USA Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and manage commissioning activities for data center mechanical systems in accordance with the commissioning plan and project requirements.
- Review mechanical designs, specifications, sequences of operation, and commissioning procedures.
- Commission HVAC systems including chillers, cooling towers, CRAH/CRAC units, AHUs, and heat rejection systems.
- Oversee testing of chilled water, condenser water, and fuel oil systems including flushing, cleaning, pressure testing, and chemical treatment.
- Verify air and water balancing (TAB) and system performance under design and part-load conditions.
- Coordinate and witness FAT, SAT, pre-functional checks, and functional performance testing.
- Participate in integrated systems testing (IST) in coordination with electrical, controls, and BMS teams.
- Identify deficiencies, manage punch lists, and verify corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards, safety procedures, and permit-to-work systems.
- Prepare commissioning reports, test records, and final handover documentation.
Authority:
- You have authority to stop the job if you feel there is an unsafe work practice which could result in a risk of injury, have an environmental impact or risk to equipment and other personnel.
- Carry out your duties to meet Quality, Safety and Environmental requirements at all times. Requirements
- 5+ years of commissioning experience on mission-critical or data center projects.
- Strong knowledge of data center cooling architectures and redundancy concepts).
- Hands-on experience with chillers, CRAH/CRAC units, pumps, valves, controls, and BMS interfaces.
- Familiarity with commissioning methodologies, FAT/SAT, TAB, and IST processes.
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, control schematics, and sequences of operation.
- Solid understanding of mechanical safety practices and applicable standards (ASHRAE, CIBSE, NFPA).
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in live data center or mission-critical environments. Benefits
