Department Engineering Position Type Regular Location US-ND-Fargo Job Overview Support the key fundamentals of manufacturing; Safety, Quality, Productivity and Cost Reduction initiatives through process development and process improvement projects. Projects are driven by reduction to cost of poor quality, process/product improvement, operations capital investment plan, overall ROI, product development initiatives and the operations business plan. Highlights of your role Serve as the primary resource in the implementation and management of quality management system processes including, ISO & CE certifications and standard operating procedures. Support engineering efforts to analyze, identify, and resolve production line problems in order to meet quality standards and specifications. Serve as a resource to internal departments in order to resolve issues related to incoming parts and develop corrective actions. Organize and schedule quality audits, develop and manage supporting documentation and communicate results. Observe continuous improvement testing efforts and coordinate root cause analysis of product failures. Support Research and Development efforts to correct any issues with current products. Analyze production data to identify improvement opportunities. Lead cross-functional teams. Develop strategies to reduce instances of field service calls. Research measurement technology. You're a good fit if you have (or if you can) Bachelor's degree in Engineering required Demonstrated, strong written and oral communication skills required Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is required Three years project management experience required Three years process development/process improvement experience required Three years experience working with continuous improvement methodologies required Six Sigma certification/experience is a plus We invite you to See Yourself at Marvin From people to products, Marvin is committed to creating better ways of living.
