Quality Engineer Job Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end warranty analysis , including data collection, failure trend identification, and reporting
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) using structured methodologies such as 8D, Fishbone (Ishikawa), and 5 Whys
  • Analyze quality and warranty data to identify systemic issues and opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and field teams to drive corrective actions
  • Develop and maintain quality metrics, dashboards, and KPIs related to warranty claims and product performance
  • Implement and monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to ensure effectiveness
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and quality system enhancements
  • Provide technical support during customer escalations and field failures
  • Assist with supplier quality evaluations and improvement activities as needed Quality Engineer Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • 6+ years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in manufacturing or product-based industries
  • Proven experience with end-to-end warranty processes
  • Strong background in root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies
  • Experience working with quality and warranty data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Minitab, etc.)
  • Knowledge of quality systems (ISO, Six Sigma, Lean principles) Preferred Qualifications
  • Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher)
