Job Description

Warranty and project quality engineering role focused on warranty claims, root cause analysis, quality data, corrective actions, contract risk reviews, and product improvement projects. Job Requirements 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field 5+ years of relevant experience preferred Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered End-to-end warranty experience required Root cause analysis experience required Experience working with quality warranty data required Experience with warranty claim validation, investigation, and closure Experience analyzing warranty trends and systemic issues Experience driving containment and corrective actions Knowledge of mechanical systems, weldments, and fabrication Ability to travel up to 40% Preferred Skills ASQ CQE certification Equivalent quality engineering certification Experience developing warranty trend dashboards Experience developing project risk dashboards Experience supporting contract reviews Experience supporting project quality planning Experience working with field service data Experience supporting product improvement projects Experience reducing warranty cost, repeat failures, and customer impact Job Responsibilities Monitor end-to-end warranty process from claim receipt through closure Validate warranty claims Lead warranty investigations Perform root cause analysis for warranty issues Track warranty-related costs Analyze warranty trends and identify systemic issues Drive containment actions and corrective actions Verify permanent corrective action effectiveness Lead contract and project risk reviews using warranty data Support quality planning for new contracts and projects Lead cross-functional warranty reduction projects Lead product improvement projects based on warranty and field data Serve as technical liaison for customers and field service teams Develop dashboards for warranty trends and project risks Maintain visibility into warranty trends and risks Use field data to support business decisions Prevent repeat failures by connecting warranty data, design issues, and project execution Coordinate warranty lessons learned with Project Management, Sales, Engineering, Testing, Field Service, and Quality teams
