Hours:

1st Shift (Monday•Friday) Quality Engineer responsible for dimensional inspection planning, engineering drawing review, and implementation of aerospace quality standards and corrective action processes. Job Requirements Extensive knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) Experience reviewing and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications Experience with AS9102 requirements and First Article Inspection reporting Experience with AS13002 requirements for developing and qualifying alternate inspection frequency plans Experience with APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) or PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) Experience using conventional measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and height gauges Experience implementing RCCM (Root Cause Counter Measures) for quality issues Preferred Skills Experience operating or programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) Experience supporting dimensional inspection planning and quality documentation processes Experience working within aerospace or high-reliability manufacturing environments Job Responsibilities Review and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T specifications to support inspection planning Develop and support First Article Inspection documentation in accordance with AS9102 requirements Support development and implementation of inspection frequency plans according to AS13002 standards Apply APQP or PPAP methodologies to support product quality planning and approval processes Perform dimensional inspections using conventional measurement tools Analyze quality issues and implement root cause countermeasures (RCCM) Support inspection processes for manufactured components and assemblies Maintain quality documentation related to inspection results and process validation Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams to address quality and inspection issues.
