THE WORK
Seeking professional engineer to provide quality support to multiples programs on the production floor. This individual will promote comprehensive quality control programs for assigned Manufacturing projects and related quality functions. Coordinates quality activities related to Engineering, Manufacturing and other functions to assist with the implementations of assigned Quality Control operations. Reviews Manufacturing/Assembly plans and develops inspection plans to assure integration of quality considerations necessary to the manufacture of products in accordance with requirements. Assists with the implementation of the prepared inspection plan and may perform inspections as required. Provides guidance to Manufacturing and Quality Control personnel concerning performance standards, operations, quality control techniques for verification of mechanical and/or electrical characteristics, and various quality aspects of product manufacture. Provides support for corrective action and assists in material review function. Prepares quality program status reports. May perform Quality Assurance audits under the direction of management. May perform any aspect of approved quality program plans as directed. Reviews procurement documents to ensure compliance with contract quality provisions.Please Note:

- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems such as
ISO/AS9100.
- Proficiency with computer systems: MS Excel
- (ex; Data Analysis, Pivot Tables, Vlookup) Word
- (ex; Professional reports to Customer, Conclusions) Power Point
- Technical Presentations w/ comprehensive analysis (ex; Root Cause, Impact, Deliverables, etc).
- Ability to perform process surveillance and Work center audits.
- Familiarity with various aspects of quality control of military systems hardware, computer programs, and other various aspects of ship and site integration & test including interfaces, alignment, system test, and support systems.
- Ability to collaborate with multiple customer partners including DCMA, TECHREP, NSWC and MDA.
- Ability to optimally work in multi-functional teams and communicate with positive impact. Direct/communicate with inspectors when required.
- Must be flexible and able to balance multiple work centers at one time. Strong organizational skills.
- Some business travel as required.

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for thisPosition:
4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week The base range for this position in New Jersey is $64,725- $139,471.
