Job Description

Position Summary The Quality Engineer (QE) is a technical leader who collaborates with multiple departments to ensure quality and delivery goals are achieved. The QE applies analytical and problem-solving techniques to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement. Duties and Responsibilities Interpret, implement, and conform to customer requirements
Develop and approve quality procedures
Develop and maintain inspection plans and standards
Oversee calibration systems in accordance with AS9100 standards
Coordinate new product launches and design changes
Manage quality inspection and auditing activities
Analyze customer complaints and returns
Drive continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma
Provide auditing and compliance support
Support MRB activities and corrective actions
Evaluate suppliers and materials
Generate First Article Inspections (FAI) Required Skills and Abilities 5+ years (QE) or 8+ years (Sr QE) experience in manufacturing environment preferred
Strong customer interaction experience
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to read drawings and specifications
Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, Lean methods
Proficiency with inspection tools and systems
Strong communication skills
Computer skills (Word, Excel, Oracle, etc.) Education and Experience Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree preferred. Experience in Quality Assurance and ISO/AS environments preferred. ASQ Certified Quality Engineer certification is a plus.
