Our capabilities include CNC machining, fabrication, welding, assembly, kitting, and program management. Position Summary The Quality Engineer will work closely with customers, suppliers, engineering, production, and management to ensure products meet customer requirements, industry standards, and internal quality objectives. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who thrives in a manufacturing environment and enjoys driving continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Ensure customer quality requirements are met through appropriate inspection methods and measurement systems Support and maintain Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001:2015, AS9100, and/or
IATF 16949
) Analyze manufacturing data and apply structured problem-solving techniques Prepare PPAP and First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation, including inspection reports, PFMEAs, and control plans Perform capability studies and analyze Cpk/Ppk data Support continuous improvement initiatives Investigate customer complaints and product returns and implement corrective actions Conduct quality and process audits Provide technical support to inspection and production personnel Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment Experience with
ISO 9001
2015, AS9100, or
IATF 16949
quality systems Working knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) Experience with Six Sigma tools (Green Belt preferred) Familiarity with Minitab and InspectionXpert preferred Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Ability to work in a JIT manufacturing environment Why Join Jet Machine?
