$80-125k (Dependent on experience) We are partnering with a client to identify a Quality Engineer for a direct hire role at their Defiance OH facility. This position plays a key role in supporting both Manufacturing and Quality teams to enhance product quality, improve delivery performance, and promote a safe manufacturing environment. Position Summary The Quality Engineer provides technical leadership and support to ensure all outgoing products meet established quality standards. This role is responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and safety.

Seeking a Quality Engineer for a Direct Hire opportunity for a facility in Fraser. This role supports Manufacturing and Quality teams to improve product quality, delivery performance, and manufacturing safety. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain the Quality Manual and company quality control procedures Oversee all inspection functions Analyze data from CMM and OVL systems Review, disposition, and resolve supplier related non conformances Resolve customer complaints and internal non conforming product issues Develop and maintain quality plans for customers Conduct onsite visits with customers and suppliers as needed Direct MRB activities and prepare deviation requests Process supplier returns and chargebacks Review SPC reports and implement corrective actions Lead continuous improvement initiatives and team meetings Make disposition decisions regarding scrap, rework, or customer repair authorization Maintain and set up statistical software programs Attend scheduled meetings and communicate updates to employees and management Develop and maintain APQP processes Develop and maintain PPAP submissions Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures Maintain all quality documentation and records Evaluate and recommend new quality control equipment Qualifications Technical education required such as Trade certification or AAS degree, Bachelor degree preferred Minimum 2 years of manufacturing and quality control experience Experience in a CNC machining environment
