Job Description

Summary We are seeking a Quality Engineer I to join our manufacturing quality team. This role is critical in driving effective quality systems, resolving customer issues, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manufacturing environments, particularly in metals or materials production. Roles & Responsibilities Collaborate with customers to identify and resolve quality-related issues Perform root cause analysis (RCA) using tools like 5 Whys, Fishbone, 8D, etc. Support and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) Participate in internal and external audits, documentation, and calibration processes Ensure compliance with quality standards such as:
ISO 9001 AS9100D ISO 17025
Work cross-functionally to improve efficiency, yield, and process performance Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across the site
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in a technical or scientific field 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (metals/materials preferred) Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) Hands-on experience with ETQ (Quality Management Software) - Required Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions Strong communication and collaboration skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools Ability to manage tasks effectively and meet deadlines Bachelor's Degree in Metallurgy or Materials Science Experience in metals or materials production environments Ability to train team members on quality processes and standards Quality Engineer
