ExemptROLE SUMMARY
As a member of the SK Food Group Reliability Systems team, serves as the primary reliability subject matter expert, facilitator, and hands-on coach for multiple plants within a region. This is an on-site based role with up to 50% travel to other sites. This role provides critical support for our Site Directors, in their efforts to maximize site performance through reliability improvement, and in alignment with SK Operational Reliability Strategy.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following: Overall, drive measurable results in availability and cost per unit, through advancing proactive operations and asset reliability performance consistent with the needs and goals of each site. Increase understanding and create excitement for reliability improvement through training and education to site team members on reliability topics, methods and tools. Facilitate the creation and advancement of proactive maintenance work processes, including work identification, job planning, maintenance scheduling and work execution. Develop and improve overall reliability strategies for production equipment using methods such as Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis, FMECA and PM Optimization. Facilitate / lead root cause analysis or failure analysis for unplanned asset failures. Be a hands-on coach and demonstrate to others by implementing examples of reliability proven practices in Maintenance and Operational processes when there are gaps in plant capabilities.For example:
Utilizing the CMMS for asset and MRO information, proactive work management and an effective PM program. Applying MRO storeroom or Maintenance Shop best practices, through physical organization, processes, or systems. Researching equipment reliability issues, using first-hand observation, manuals, prints, etc. Working directly with equipment or part vendors related to reliability concerns or improvement opportunities. Mapping current state processes, creating new process maps and RACI charts. Developing, tracking, and reporting out reliability related metrics or KPI's. Contribute design for Reliability input to the capital process and reliability focused commissioning during local capital projects. Partner with the Director of Reliability Systems and Site Directors to create and update Site Reliability Plans and performance glide paths. Partner with the Continuous Improvement function to make operational process reliability improvements that reduce costs and increase productivity. Partner with Supply Chain on MRO related initiatives that can reduce costs while maintaining or improving reliability. Maintain positive partnerships and a work environment within the plant teams that promotes trust, teamwork, quality, and safety. Other duties as assigned. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No direct supervisory responsibilities, coaches associates and leaders at all levels to support the attainment of business goals through improved reliability and proactive operations.QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION andEXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in engineering, with Reliability Engineering Minor or coursework as a significant advantage. 10+ years of reliability leadership related CPG or manufacturing experience.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS
CMRP, CRL, CRE, RMIC or equivalent professional reliability certification is required.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
Asset Criticality Analysis. Root Cause Analysis Facilitation FMEA, FMECA or RCM PM Optimization facilitation Condition-based maintenance including technologies of vibration, ultrasonic and IR. Lubrication best practices and tribology basics. Mechanical and electrical understanding of industrial manufacturing equipment. Industrial Maintenance experience including CMMS use. Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical prints. Experienced user of excel for data analysis and performance tracking. Excellent communication and facilitation skills, including written, verbal and presentation skills; comfortable and credible with both internal stakeholders and external audiences.Preferred knowledge:
Continuous Improvement or Lean methodology. Tabware CMMS experience Redzone experience Tableau experience Food Safety training or certifications Laser alignment, balancing and precision installation techniques.Required Training:
This position requires training on Good Manufacturing Practices critical to the effective implementation of the Food Safety Plan and the maintenance of food safety, quality and process efficiency. Training is also required on how to identify food safety issues such as temperature control, cross-contamination, sanitation and cleanliness of the lines, etc., critical to the effective implementation of the Food Safety Plan and the maintenance of food safety, quality and process efficiency.WORKING CONDITIONS PHYSICAL DEMANDS
