Job Description

JAC Products is looking for a dedicated Quality Engineer to join our team in Napoleon, Ohio . In this role, you'll support continuous improvement efforts, ensure strong quality systems, and maintain process controls within the business unit. You'll also implement corporate and plant-level quality procedures and ensure team members are trained and compliant with these standards.
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
Advanced technical knowledge of relevant manufacturing processes such as: Assembly, extrusion, fabrication, etc. Strong understanding of statistical process control and how to use data to drive decisions. Advanced knowledge of OEM such as Subaru, Toyota or Honda quality standards, systems, and processes. Successful Product Launch / Production Start-up experience including all documentation, testing, data collection, and reporting. Experience leading the PPAP process to successful conclusion. Advanced knowledge and practical application of Problem Solving / Process Improvement analysis, tools, and techniques. Strong root cause analysis background such as 8D, 5Why, Fishbone, or Ishikawa. Advanced computer skills, including P.C. knowledge and current technology software familiarity. Provide guidance and support to Quality Engineers.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or the equivalent/relevant experience preferred Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or equivalent is preferred Manufacturing Assembly experience preferred Six Sigma Black Belt preferred Three (3) or more years' experience in a relevant engineering discipline within a manufacturing environment Five (5) to eight (8) years in a quality focused engineering role preferred
