Job Duties Working under broad direction, analyzes, modifies and designs for multiple projects and/or projects of great complexity requiring independent application of advance engineering techniques. Leads projects or design teams. Considered a subject matter expert in the application of standard materials and components. Investigates use of alternate materials and provides input on strategic sourcing of materials. Plans and conducts projects with wide latitude for independent action. Advises and handles field and manufacturing problems to maintain and improve products and services. Incorporates Reliability, HSE and Quality analysis techniques during the design process. Job role contributes directly to value creation. Qualifications Skills typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline, and 7 years of related experience. Completion of a Masters in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline is preferred. Certification as a Licensed/Chartered Professional Engineer is also preferred.
