It is a 100% on-site role, and we do not provide remote or hybrid work options.Responsibilities:
Product and process quality Define quality requirements such as CTQs (critical‑to‑quality characteristics), acceptance criteria, and inspection standards. Participate in design reviews to ensure manufacturability and reliability. Conduct FMEA (DFMEA/PFMEA) to identify risks and mitigation actions. Create control plans and ensure process controls are implemented on the shop floor. Validate processes and equipment , including capability studies (Cp/Cpk) and MSA (measurement system analysis). Issue detection and root‑cause elimination Lead root cause analysis using 5 Whys, Ishikawa, DMAIC, or 8D. Manage nonconformances and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Analyze defect trends and implement systemic improvements. Support customer complaint investigations and field failure analysis. Manufacturing support Monitor production quality metrics such as yield, scrap, rework, and DPPM. Approve first article inspections (FAI) and production readiness for new products. Troubleshoot line issues and collaborate with engineering and operations. Ensure proper documentation such as work instructions, inspection sheets, and test procedures. Supplier quality Qualify new suppliers through audits and capability assessments. Define incoming inspection criteria and manage IQC processes. Issue and track supplier corrective actions (SCAR) . Monitor supplier performance using scorecards and DPPM metrics. Data and analytics Use statistical tools (SPC, hypothesis testing, regression, DOE) to analyze variation. Build dashboards and reports to track KPIs and drive decisions. Perform reliability analysis (Weibull, life testing) when applicable. Compliance and audits Maintain QMS documentation and ensure compliance with standards (ISO 9001, ISO14001, ISO14064 etc.). Conduct internal audits and support external audits. Ensure traceability of materials, processes, and test results. Continuous improvement Lead Lean and Six Sigma projects to reduce waste and variation. Optimize processes for cost, quality, and efficiency. Drive culture change by coaching teams on quality mindset and tools.Skills and Requirements:
Technical skills Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (mechanical, electrical, assembly, machining, etc.) Soft skills Problem‑solving and analytical thinking Clear communication with engineers, operators, suppliers, and customers Project management and cross‑functional leadership Attention to detail and strong documentation discipline Education and experience A minimum of 2 years working experience in the related field Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, industrial, manufacturing) Experience in manufacturing or product development environments Certifications like CQE , Six Sigma Green/Black Belt , or Lean are often preferred Knowledge of quality tools:FMEA, SPC, MSA, DOE, 8D, CAPA
Familiarity with QMS standards (ISO 9001, ISO14001, ISO14064 etc.). Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T Data analysis proficiency (Excel, Minitab, JMP, Python is a plus)Language:
English, Mandarin is required, as this role involves regular communication with our headquarters in Taiwan.Job Type:
