Job Description

Piper Companies is seeking a Remote Signal Integrity Engineer with willingness to travel up to 30% in the US , to join an organization within the electrical and electronic interconnect manufacturing industry with up to 30% travel in the U.S. The Signal Integrity Enginee r will be a hands-on technical leader focused on system-level SerDes bring-up for cable and backplane designs, combining deep technical expertise with team leadership and global factory engagement. Responsibilities of the
Signal Integrity Engineer:
Drive high-speed electrical validation efforts, including signal integrity analysis, S-parameter characterization, BERT testing, TDR, and VNA evaluations. Create, execute, and document engineering and design validation test plans to ensure product performance and compliance. Partner closely with hardware, firmware, manufacturing, and customer teams to resolve performance issues and support product releases. Design and enhance high‑speed test platforms and methodologies aligned with future product and technology roadmaps. Investigate test failures, perform root‑cause analysis, and drive corrective actions to improve overall signal integrity performance. Qualifications of the
Signal Integrity Engineer:
Bachelor's in electrical engineering; Masters preferred. 8-10 years of signal integrity engineering experience with system-level SerDes bring-up. Strong background in Signal Integrity Engineering, electromagnetic simulations, and S-parameters. Experience with high-speed cables, backplanes, or interconnect systems. Proficiency with SI simulation and measurement tools (IBIS-AMI, HFSS/CST, TDR, VNA, BERT). Compensation for the Signal Integrity Engineer includes: Salary range: $165,000 - $195,000 Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, sick leave if required by law, and holidays
