At Omniseal Solutions, a Saint‑Gobain company, our Quality Engineers play a critical role in delivering high‑performance sealing solutions that meet the most demanding customer and industry standards. This position supports quality excellence across Aerospace, Automotive, Energy, and Industrial markets, partnering closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to ensure compliance, reliability, and customer satisfaction. The Quality Engineer is responsible for understanding and applying applicable industry and customer quality requirements, including AS9100 and IATF 16949, within an assigned product line or value stream. This role will also support broader site initiatives as needed, contributing to a culture of World Class Manufacturing (WCM), continuous improvement, and operational discipline. This position offers hands‑on ownership of inspection processes, exposure to regulated manufacturing environments, and the opportunity to develop strong quality engineering fundamentals within a global organization committed to innovation and sustainability.Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret customer, regulatory, and market quality requirements and translate them into effective inspection and control processes.
- Develop and maintain inspection methodologies (manual and digital) to ensure full compliance with customer drawings and specifications.
- Support and lead activities related to initial product approvals, including APQP, PPAP, First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR), and internal or external audits.
- Maintain and support the site Quality Management System in accordance with AS9100 and/or
IATF 16949
standards.- Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to support quality planning, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.
- Train and coach shop‑floor employees on quality principles, inspection techniques, and proper use of quality tools and equipment.
- Actively support the site's WCM Quality & Process Control Pillar, participating in projects that improve process capability and product performance.
- Promote and uphold Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards within the Quality function.
- Utilize structured problem‑solving methodologies to support corrective and preventive actions.
- Build and apply experience with modern quality technologies, including inspection automation, vision systems, and data‑driven analysis.
IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Quality, or related discipline) Required.
- 0-2 Years Experience in manufacturing, quality, or engineering roles Required.
- 0-2 Years Experience in Aerospace, Aviation, Automotive or other regulated industries.
- Working knowledge of quality systems and tools such as
AS9100, IATF
16949, APQP, and PPAP.- Familiarity with inspection methods, measurement systems, and quality documentation.
- Interest or experience in Industry 4.0 concepts, including automated inspection and quality data analysis.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated initiative, customer focus, and ability to work cross‑functionally.

Certain locations require pay information be provided in job postings. Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees' wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position which is $81,500.00 to $126,500 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 10% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $89,600.00 to $139,100.00. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
