Job Description

Core Molding Technologies is hiring a Quality Engineer to support product launches through process improvement, root cause analysis, and product quality in a manufacturing environment. In this role, you ll collaborate across Engineering, Operations, Customer Support, and Purchasing to drive quality outcomes that meet our standards and customer expectations. Responsibilities Analyze product/process failures and lead root-cause investigations Support corrective and preventative action (CAPA) efforts Respond to customer complaints and audit failures Own and manage
IATF 16949 QMS
processes Develop PFMEAs, control plans, and quality documentation Conduct supplier quality audits and manage non-conformances Track quality metrics, trends, and reports Support APQP, MRB, and continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Engineering or related field 3+ years in a quality engineering or manufacturing role Knowledge of
IATF 16949, ISO 9001/14001
standards Experience with SPC, MSA, CAPA, and technical writing Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Minitab Strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T Preferred ASQ certification (CQE, CQA, etc.) Six Sigma Green/Black Belt Internal auditor experience Experience in automotive or plastics manufacturing Benefits Competitive pay 401(k) with company match Paid time off Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Professional development opportunities Wellness programs and product discounts
