Job Description

Are you a data-driven problem solver who thrives on driving continuous improvement? We are seeking a dynamic Senior Quality Engineer to lead cross-functional quality initiatives, optimize manufacturing processes, and champion risk reduction across production, suppliers, and customer interfaces. In this role, you will own critical quality-planning elements , mentor junior team members , and serve as a key driver for closed-loop problem solving (8D/A3). BachelorsResponsibilitiesLead closed-loop problem solving (8D/A3), including containment, root cause,corrective actions, and effectiveness verification. Own internal and external non-conformance investigations, including customerreturns/complaints and supplier issues; drive prevention of recurrence. Define and maintain product/process quality requirements: control plans,inspection plans, reaction plans, and acceptance criteria aligned with customer and regulatory requirements. Plan and execute process/product audits (layered audits where applicable) and verify effectiveness of corrective actions. Develop and maintain quality documentation, work instructions, and procedures;drive continuous improvement of the quality management system. Establish measurement strategy including gage selection, calibration, MSA/Gage and measurement method validation. Implement appropriate SPC/monitoring for critical characteristics; investigate trends and drive process capability improvements. Interface with internal teams, customers, and suppliers on quality matters; lead quality meetings and communicate status, risks, and containment actions. Mentor/train associates on quality standards, defect awareness, inspection methods, and problem-solving tools; support onboarding and skills development. Support PFMEA/control plan alignment and participate in cross-functional production and quality reviews.
