3rd. Sunday-Thursday. 8:30PM-5:00AM. Qualifications  Must be willing to complete additional advanced training/educational courses as required  Bachelor's degree preferred  Minimum 5 plus years related work experience  Must interpret basic technical drawings including characteristics such as views, title blocks, dimensioning, GD&T symbols, etc  Advanced training/experience in the use of statistical techniques and process improvement methods Benefits  The pay reflects the average target pay for the position across all U.S. locations  Beyond offering a competitive total rewards package, we prioritize a people-first culture and offer various opportunities to support team member growth and success Responsibilities  Quality Engineers work with employee teams and managers while exhibiting a professional and cooperative attitude  Quality Engineer is to continuously improve safety, quality, business, and manufacturing processes with an emphasis on eliminating process waste  Quality Engineer will design new processes and re-engineer existing processes to produce outcomes that meet safety, quality, and business expectations  Support housekeeping and safety  Facilitate and train employee teams in process improvement techniques  Assist in the identification and implementation of RCCA projects  Lead teams in applying quality tools and methodology to eliminate repeat defects  Apply basic process improvement tools within the six sigma DMAIC improvement model  Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA)  Mentor and train Associate Engineers  Design and improve process inputs to gain desired outcome  Improve processes to reduce common cause variability and eliminate special cause  Establish control plans to prevent process backsliding for consolidation of gains  Perform process capability studies internally and externally  Analyze process constraints and develop standards to overcome constraints Revise procedures for process improvement  Investigate/analyze and benchmark industry practices for process validation assessments  Implement effective corrective and preventative actions utilizing structured planning methods  Coordinate and work cross-functionally with Employee Teams, Quality, Engineering, Contracts, Sales and Manufacturing to improve processes  Must proactively plan and execute plans in accordance with established time constraints  Minimal travel as required  Accurately maintain company records and documents in accordance with policies and procedures  Interpret specification requirements in relation to product and process characteristics INDQSS3
