About the Role As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will lead efforts to uphold rigorous manufacturing standards and drive continuous improvement across our production lines. You will utilize your expertise in automotive quality systems to ensure operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and seamless product launches. Responsibilities Manage the full lifecycle of new product launches, including documentation and submission through OEM portals. Lead cross-functional teams in root cause analysis and corrective action using 8D, 5Y, and Ishikawa methodologies. Perform dimensional layouts and evaluate prototypes using GD&T standards to ensure compliance. Execute AIAG core tools including PPAP, APQP, MSA, SPC, and FMEA to maintain process stability. Investigate internal and external quality concerns, implementing effective solutions to reduce scrap and waste. Conduct

audits and maintain quality management systems to ensure ongoing compliance. Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing departments to provide feedback on dimensional and process concerns. Travel to supplier and customer sites as needed to facilitate containment and problem-solving activities. Qualifications Required Skills Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field. 5+ years of experience in quality engineering within automotive manufacturing. Proficiency in
GD&T, AIAG
core tools, and 8D problem-solving. Strong analytical skills with experience using Minitab or similar statistical software. Ability to interpret complex technical diagrams and specifications. Preferred Skills Direct experience working with German OEM customer portals and VDA audit requirements. Hands-on experience with metal stamping or weld assembly processes. Familiarity with Plex or similar ERP/quality management systems. Proven track record of leading continuous improvement initiatives.
