Job Description

Currently, we are seeking a Quality Engineer to become a part of the HIROTEC team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Knowledge and experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), and Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (PFMEA) Establish, maintain, and coordinate the quality management system, IATF16949, and any other customer quality requirements. Create, maintain, and/or revise quality documentation (policies, procedures, work instructions, etc.). Collect, track, record, and maintain quality control data and reporting on this data. Customer and vendor interface for quality assurance. Lead internal, supplier, and customer audit activities corresponding to production schedules, including all necessary documentation and follow-up activities. Investigate any quality issues to identify root cause, identify and implement appropriate corrective action, and ensure issues are addressed and resolved. Measure, test, and inspect materials, products, machinery, and processes according to quality management system standards, while meeting customer requirements. Using various gauges and equipment to aid in measuring and inspecting products. Ability to make accurate assessments of problems, communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a strong interest in a collaborative working process. Other duties and projects may be assigned based on the operational objectives of the company. Ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree and two years quality/supervisor experience in automotive/manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Excellent written and oral communication and negotiation skills, in addition to proven Microsoft Office/computer skills required. Strong interpersonal skills with all levels of employees. Strong organizational, teamwork, and leadership skills. Must have a sound technical aptitude with a thorough understanding of stamping, automation, and manufacturing applications.
