Your Contribution Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation. This includes advanced quality planning documents, forms and instructions for recording, evaluating and reporting quality and reliability data. Assists Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP) team with quality issues on new product launches including Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA). Participates in defect/scrap reduction activities. Maintains records of and controls disposition of "Hold For Inspection" (discrepant) items. Compiles and writes training material and conducts training sessions on quality control activities. Recommends modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability. Sets up and performs destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts or products to measure performance, life or material characteristics. Prepares graphs or charts of data or enters data into computer for analysis. Maintains quality records in an orderly manner. Your Experience & Qualifications 5 years' experience as a Quality Engineer with the above-mentioned duties and responsibilities Quality Injection Molding experience GD&T Proficient T1 Automotive Manufacturing experience required

IATF16949

experience required. VDA auditor certified preferred ERP Systems experience required; SAP preferred

PPAP, APQP
