Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and compliance-driven Quality Engineer to support a high-precision industrial manufacturing project within the nuclear industry. This role ensures that all components, processes, and documentation meet rigorous quality standards and regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement quality plans, procedures, and documentation aligned with ISO standards Perform inspections, audits, and surveillance of manufacturing processes and suppliers Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for non-conformances Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing records for compliance Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and procurement teams to ensure quality throughout the lifecycle Maintain traceability and documentation for regulatory audits and customer reviews Support qualification and validation of equipment, processes, and personnel Monitor and report quality metrics, trends, and continuous improvement initiativesRequired Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in the nuclear, automotive, aerospace, or defense industries Strong knowledge of ISO quality standards Proficiency in quality management systems (QMS), inspection tools, and data analysis Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills Active or recently activeDOE Q or DoD Top Secret Clearance Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma certification Experience supporting DOE, Automotive, Aerospace or highly regulated industries Familiarity with cleanroom protocols and contamination controlOther Job Requirements:
