Job Description

MSR International is partnering with a large aggregates producer based in Texas. Reliability Engineer
  • Industrial Operations Relocation to Texas + relocation support Overview This role is responsible for enhancing plant performance by reducing downtime, improving equipment reliability, and driving maintenance efficiency.
The position works across operations and maintenance teams to diagnose recurring issues, implement corrective actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Analyze equipment performance, downtime trends, and reliability data to identify root causes and recurring failures Lead cross-functional problem-solving efforts and implement sustainable engineering solutions Develop and manage predictive maintenance programs, including vibration monitoring, alignment, and balancing Identify equipment weaknesses and recommend upgrades or modifications to improve long-term performance Support capital and maintenance planning with technical input, cost estimates, and project justification Oversee improvement projects from concept through execution, coordinating with contractors and vendors Partner with operations and maintenance teams to resolve high-cost or persistent reliability issues Contribute to annual maintenance budgeting and long-term asset strategy Provide technical leadership and step into supervisory duties when required Participate in an on-call rotation to support plant operations Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Minimum 2+ years' experience in heavy industry or manufacturing environments Strong background in maintenance and reliability engineering practices Experience with predictive and preventive maintenance methodologies Familiarity with industrial processes (mining, cement or aggregates preferred) Competence with engineering tools and systems Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across all levels Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively within teams
