Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer Forney, Texas Days position $85,000 - $110,000 Industrial Automation Manufacturing We are working with a rapidly growing manufacturer who are looking to add an experienced Quality Engineer to their team in Forney, Texas. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end Quality activities across the manufacturing operation Maintain and improve the company Quality Management System (QMS) Lead continuous improvement and quality enhancement initiatives within production Participate in new product launches to ensure quality requirements are achieved throughout development Work closely with Design and Manufacturing Engineering teams to establish robust process controls Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions for quality failures and non-conformances Create and manage NCRs, CARs, and inspection documentation Ensure supplier, customer, and internal quality documentation meets required standards Conduct regular audits and assessments of manufacturing processes and quality systems Drive supplier quality improvements using Lean Manufacturing, Poka-Yoke, 8D, and Six Sigma methodologies Accurately document inspection and quality data within the MRP system Support APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and process capability activities

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related Engineering discipline Minimum 6 years' experience within Quality Engineering or Quality Management in manufacturing Strong working knowledge of ISO9001 and

IATF16949

standards Experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, GR&R, Cpk analysis, ANOVA, and 8D methodologies Strong understanding of quality tools, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes
