The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $94,557 -$124,300 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:
Establish, maintain, and improve QMS procedures, work instructions, visual standards, and controlled documents. Manage document control, change control, and records in SharePoint, SAP, and Power Apps. Plan, run, and close internal audits. Coordinate external and customer audits. Keep the audit calendar, issue reports, and track corrective actions to closure.
Lead CAPA governance:
intake of nonconformities, root cause analysis using 5 Why and Ishikawa, define and approve corrective and preventive actions, and verify effectiveness. Oversee Incoming Inspection and packaging and labeling validation. Define sampling plans and acceptance criteria. Keep training and competency matrices for inspectors and auditors. Monitor and report quality KPIs such as Scrap, PPM, CCR, and FPY. Prepare inputs for Management Review and share clear dashboards with leadership. Keep governance of the SHPDPR1 standard. Maintain standard work, audit criteria, and visual controls, and ensure consistent application across all shifts. Work with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to implement process controls and manage change control that affects product, packaging, or labeling. Provide daily coaching and training to the quality team. Lead daily huddles and handle escalations related to quality. Coordinate with Inventory Control only when a quality issue affects records, for example quality holds or rework transactions. Requires a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or closely related field and 3 years' experience as a Quality Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Continuous Improvement Engineer, Continuous Improvement Coordinator, Consulting Leader, Engineering Manager or related occupation. Also requires 2 years' experience with Pareto analysis and leading complex RCAs; Performing data analysis and turning data to strategic action; Interpreting and recommending improvements to technical drawings; Writing technical reports and conducting both internal and external quality audits; Utilizing quality improvement techniques such as RCA, A3, and 8D; Utilizing statistical analysis tools like Minitab; and Utilizing quality tools, including DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, GR&R, Capability Studies, and Inspection Plans.
