Reliability Engineer Location:

Full-Time Overview We are seeking a Reliability Engineer to support monitoring and diagnostics across a fleet of advanced gas and steam turbines. This role focuses on identifying early equipment degradation, analyzing performance trends, and providing technical recommendations to improve overall asset reliability. Responsibilities Monitor and assess gas and steam turbine performance using time-series data and diagnostic tools Analyze vibration, combustion, thermal, and operational data to identify abnormal trends Evaluate and validate anomaly detection outputs from analytics or AI-based systems Support and lead root cause analysis (RCA) for trips, outages, and performance issues Provide clear, actionable recommendations on equipment condition and corrective actions Develop and refine diagnostic methodologies, alarm strategies, and reliability processes Produce technical reports outlining equipment condition and risk exposure Support rapid response to abnormal operating events or forced outages Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) or equivalent experience 7+ years of experience in gas turbines, steam turbines, or rotating equipment Strong understanding of failure modes (vibration, rotor dynamics, combustion, thermal loading, bearings, seals) Experience analyzing condition monitoring data (vibration, temperature, etc.) Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities Ability to communicate technical findings clearly Preferred Combined cycle power plant experience OEM or fleet engineering background Experience with predictive analytics or condition monitoring platforms
