Qorvo, located in Richardson Texas, is seeking a talented and motivated Reliability Engineer who will be responsible for accelerated life testing, stress testing, and analysis. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills and proficiency in utilizing reliability software tools and parametric test systems. Candidates for this position should be very knowledgeable in DC and RF testing. This position reports to the Site Reliability Director and is responsible to: Develop test plans based on customer requirements, and other associated documentation, Measure and test electronic devices using semiconductor parametric test equipment, Conduct accelerated life testing, collect data, and analyze to determine failure statistics including activation energies etc. Prepare reliability reports and communicate to internal and external customers,
QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years of experience in the reliability testing
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics or similar. Familiarity with parametric test systems, Labview, and Visual Basic. Word-processing (MS Word) and spreadsheet skills (EXCEL). Advanced math and problem-solving skills Data analysis skills, (MiniTab experience would be beneficial) Strong communication, presentation, follow-through and organizational skills. Familiarity with failure rate mathematics and life time models such as Blacks Equation, TDDB linear field model etc. Familiarity with other types of stress testing such as HAST, HTOL, TC, and MSL. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship by the Company. This position requires work on US Government contracts.
