Job Description

We are working to increase vehicle safety by developing seatbelts, airbags and steering wheels and you can be part of our team as a Production Quality Engineer . In this role you will be responsible for This individual is responsible for the day-to-day quality activities in their assigned manufacturing team. They are responsible for addressing reactive quality concerns as well as identifying proactive quality improvements. Monitor process capability and identify improvement opportunities Champion quality initiatives on the manufacturing floor Responsible for delivering on quality related metrics for their area (non-quality cost, customer PPM, new launch readiness, etc.) Effective Time Management. Practical Problem-Solving Skills, Self Starter What are the most critical stakeholders of the role? Customers, Quality team, Production team, Internal suppliers With what other groups/functions/divisions will the person interact? Production Control, Process Engineering, Change Management, New Launch, Customer Quality, Segment Supplier Quality, Design Engineering, Program Management What is required: Bachelor's degree in an engineering or similar technical field Quality control in a manufacturing environment We will be more than glad to chat with you about your experience and your career goals.
