No Direct reports for this role Summary Quality Engineer responsibilities include the development and maintenance of
AS9100/ISO9001 QMS
system. Other responsibilities will include the coordination of QC teams, resolution of product issues, and customer support. Job Responsibilities Maintaining and improving the ISO9001 and
AS/EN9100
policies and procedures including internal audits
Perform APQP (FAI, PPAP, PFMEA, etc.)
Planning, Conducting, Tracking and Reporting all QMS audit activities
Analysis of internal (trends, scrap, SPC, etc..) and customer to drive actions focused on continuous improvement
Develop timelines and ensure timely completion of all quality requirements/documents
Liaison with Customers during visits, builds, NPI activities, process/system audits
Ensure great customer relations are developed and maintained
Provide written technical responses to customers on quality issues as well as performing ongoing reporting to customers
Clearly and consistently communicate customer Quality expectations to the Organization
Lead/ coordinate cross-functional NPI teams on product launches, apply lessons learned to continuously improve the NPI process
Assisting or Leading cross-functional team to investigate quality issues and recommend technical solutions - be the Quality champion for CI activities
Quality background to include CAPA problem solving and root cause analysis
Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to conduct and/or participate in internal training programs and attend external training as required
Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated diplomacy and professionalism
Exceptional organizational abilities with task prioritization, multi-tasking, use of timelines and time management techniques
Conviction to improve personally and support continuous improvement in the department and company as a whole
High level of personal integrity
Professional/mature demeanor under stressful situations
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - effective time management skills
Must be able to work with little supervision; must be self-directed while having the ability to work seamlessly within a cross functional team environment Work Conditions Some travel may be required

Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals
Overtime as required Requirements Minimum of three years in Community College with Technology diploma or an Engineering degree preferred.
5-10 years as a QE or related role in Quality Assurance within a machine shop environment preferred
ISO9001 - 2015
Lead Auditor Certification/accreditation preferred
Ability to read blueprints and proven competency with standard metrology tools
Intermediate level computer skills using MS Office Suite of programs
Close working knowledge of GD&T requirements
