About the role We are looking for a Condition Monitoring Technician to support the reliability team Reporting to the Superintendent, Reliability Engineering, working 4 x 10 hour days per week collaboratively with operational and functional teams, you will be responsible for: Assessing plant equipment for inclusion in predictive maintenance (PdM) programs Building and maintaining equipment databases using specialized analysis software Establishing and managing testing intervals based on equipment criticality and condition Developing and maintaining procedures, work instructions, and testing schedules in CMMS Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting condition monitoring data to identify emerging issues Recommending corrective actions and initiating work notifications to prevent failures Producing clear, standardized equipment health and condition reports Performing post-repair verification testing to confirm equipment reliability Supporting oil sampling programs including collection, testing, and analysis Maintaining calibration and readiness of condition monitoring tools and instrumentation Identifying recurring equipment issues and contributing to long-term reliability improvements Supporting KPI tracking, quality assurance processes, and program performance Assisting with budget planning and cost control activities for condition monitoring Working safely in environments that may include confined spaces and respirator use when required About you A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience, including at least 2 years in predictive maintenance Hands-on experience with PdM technologies such as vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, ultrasonics, or non-destructive testing Proficiency in condition monitoring techniques, including Level 1 capability in multiple disciplines and Level 2 in at least one (e.g. vibration, thermography, oil analysis, or ultrasonics) Strong analytical skills with an understanding of basic math and physics applied to equipment reliability Experience using CMMS and PdM software systems; familiarity with SAP or Machinery Health Manager is beneficial Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and communicate findings clearly to support proactive maintenance decisions Experience with root cause or failure analysis is advantageous Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams Experience working with heavy mobile or fixed plant equipment in industrial or mining environments is beneficial This role is open to candidates with the permanent right to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
