Job Description

Job Summary The Quality Management System (QMS) Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving the Quality Management System in compliance with
ISO 9001
requirements. This role works cross-functionally with multiple departments to promote a strong quality culture, ensure process discipline, and support continuous improvement across the organization. Key Responsibilities 1. Quality Management System (ISO 9001) Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System in accordance with
ISO 9001
requirements. Ensure QMS documentation (quality manuals, procedures, work instructions, and records) are properly controlled, maintained, and compliant with company and regulatory standards. Plan, conduct, and support internal audits, including QMS audits and manufacturing process audits, as well as supplier, customer, and external certification audits. Track audit findings, support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and verify effectiveness of implemented actions. Support management reviews by preparing quality metrics, KPIs, and improvement action plans, and monitor follow-up actions to ensure completion. 2. Documentation & Training Maintain quality records and ensure traceability and data integrity. Support employee training on QMS procedures, quality tools, and quality standards. Promote quality awareness and support continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 3-7 years of experience as a QMS or Quality Engineer with significant quality system exposure and internal audit experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of
ISO 9001
requirements, including the process approach and process-based auditing practices. Experience with quality tools such as PFMEA, Control Plan, and PPAP. Experience conducting internal audits, including manufacturing process audits, CAPA management, and root cause analysis. Strong documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage priorities and ensure timely completion of quality-related initiatives. Preferred Qualifications
ISO 9001
Lead Auditor certification. Experience in electronics manufacturing, EMS, automotive, or aerospace industries. Familiarity with additional quality standards such as
ISO 14001, IATF
16949, or AS9100. Key Competencies Attention to detail and strong process discipline. Ability to work cross-functionally with production, engineering, and supply chain teams. Strong communication and training skills. Continuous improvement mindset. Working Environment/Physical Requirements Work may be performed in both office and manufacturing environments. The position may require extended periods of sitting, standing, or walking, and occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs. Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required when entering production areas.
