Data Quality Engineer

Achieve more with Volt Volt is immediately hiring for a Data Quality Engineer in Spokane, WA. As a Data Quality Engineer you will: Execute testing procedures to ensure that software meets established quality standards. Develop and write testing scripts and plans to ensure that software functions as expected. Work with customers to help assure that User Story Acceptance Criteria will meet customer User Acceptance Test (UAT) expectations before development begins so that software developers code it correctly the first time. Prepare data sets to test logic, error handling and system workflows. Isolate, reproduce, and track defects. Verify fixes. Document testing according to required procedures. Be familiar with software development cycle and quality assurance methodologies. Work on projects/issues of medium complexity. Assist with/performs software deployments This is a full time opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

Strong SQL expertise for validating joins, grain, filters, and aggregations across complex data models. Data quality and analytical validation skills to investigate, explain, and resolve data discrepancies. Experience with BI environments, especially validating Power BI datasets, metrics, and semantic models. Ability to design and execute manual, analysis?driven test plans aligned with user story acceptance criteria. Familiarity with SDLC and QA methodologies, including defect isolation, documentation, and verification.

Pay Rate:
