Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer Sumner, WA A leading Aerospace company is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join their growing team. This role is ideal for someone with quality experience within aerospace or highly regulated manufacturing environments. This company has been designing, testing, and manufacturing composite products used in the aerospace industry for over 30 years. In this role, you will be responsible for improving product quality, increasing process efficiency, and playing a key role in new product introduction. What's in it for you? Quality Engineer Responsibilities:

Support process improvement initiatives and AS9100 compliance. Develop Standard Work Instructions and review First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) for AS9102 compliance. Analyze manufacturing processes, identify gaps, and recommend corrective actions. Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to improve efficiency and quality. Track metrics to monitor process effectiveness and support continuous improvement.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8 am - 5 pm - this is an onsite role.

Quality Engineer Qualifications:

2+ years of quality engineering experience within aerospace or other regulated manufacturing environment Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office for data analysis and reporting. Ability to analyze processes, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. Experience with composites, PFMEA, and MSA tools is preferred

Pay:

$43.00 - $60.00 per hour. This Client who we are staffing for participates in the E-Verify program.
