We are partnering with a well-established and growing manufacturer with over 100 years of industry success to identify a Quality Engineer. This is a permanent opportunity to join a stable organization that continues to invest in its people, processes, and technology. The Quality Engineer will play a critical role in driving product quality, supporting production, and leading continuous improvement initiatives across the operation. Quality Assurance & Control:
Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards and procedures to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for internal and external quality issues Support production teams in resolving quality concerns and driving defect reduction initiatives Conduct audits (internal, supplier, and process) to ensure adherence to quality systems and standards Review and approve inspection plans, control plans, and quality documentationProcess Improvement:
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other quality methodologies Analyze quality data and metrics (scrap, rework, yield, customer returns) to identify trends and improvement opportunities Partner cross-functionally with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain to improve product and process performance Support new product introduction (NPI) efforts, including PPAP, FMEA, and validation activitiesSupplier Quality:
Work closely with suppliers to ensure quality standards are met and maintained Lead supplier corrective actions and performance improvement initiatives Assist in supplier selection and qualification processesCustomer & Compliance:
Act as a key point of contact for customer quality issues, ensuring timely resolution and communication Ensure compliance with applicable quality standards (ISO, customer-specific requirements, etc.) Maintain proper documentation and reporting to support audits and regulatory needsQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field 3-7+ years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment Strong experience with root cause analysis, CAPA, and quality tools (FMEA, PPAP, SPC, etc.) Working knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems Experience with Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies preferred Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skillsWhy This Opportunity:
