Job Description:
Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Engineer to join our operations team. In this early-career role, you will support the maintenance, development, and improvement of our quality management system to ensure all products meet stringent industry, regulatory, and customer requirements. You will work cross-functionally with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain teams to identify quality issues, support root-cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities Quality System Compliance:
Support compliance with industry-specific standards (such as
AS9100, ISO 9001
) and regulatory requirements. Participate in internal audits and assist with preparation for external customer and third-party audits.
Process & Product Quality:
Monitor manufacturing processes and product lines to ensure conformance to technical specifications, blueprints, and quality plans. Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA): Assist in investigating non-conformances and customer escapes. Work with engineering and production teams to utilize standard problem-solving methodologies to determine root causes and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Collect, track, and analyze quality metrics (e.g., scrap rates, first-pass yield, defect trends) to identify areas for process improvement. Prepare routine quality reports for management review.
Qualifications & Skills Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, or a related technical discipline).
Experience:
1 years of experience post graduate in a manufacturing or engineering environment #
