Summary:

This Quality Engineer role supports hands-on quality work for precision machined mechanical components, with a strong focus on production floor support, customer/supplier quality, and corrective action. The work centers on quality planning, inspection and test documentation, process data analysis, complaint management, and continuous improvement in a small manufacturing environment. Requirements 5+ years of quality engineering experience in a production or manufacturing environment. Hands-on quality experience with machined products, precision components, or similar mechanical manufacturing work. Comfortable working directly on the production floor with customers, suppliers, inspection teams, and operations. Responsibilities Gather and analyze quality data, measure process performance, and drive corrective action or continuous improvement plans. Develop, maintain, and audit quality plans, inspection and test plans, acceptance criteria, procedures, and work instructions. Support customer and supplier quality communication, complaint management, contract reviews, and preventive action follow-up. Important Notes This is a hands-on, production-floor-focused role near Milwaukee, WI with a small manufacturing team. This is a first-shift role, typically starting around 7:00 or 8:00 AM. The role is expected to be 40 hours per week with little to no overtime anticipated.
